Mycotoxin in Nepal: From Evidence to Action

The Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Nutrition proudly announces a dissemination workshop on Monday, December 9, 2019 at the Yak and Yeti Hotel, Kathmandu. The event will focus on empirical findings to better understand the association between maternal and/or early life mycotoxin (aflatoxin) exposure and infant and young child growth in Nepal.

The dissemination proceedings will focus on sharing evidence from the Nutrition Innovation Lab’s research and collaboration activities in Nepal, such as:

1) building on the findings from the earlier workshops on mycotoxin mitigation in Nepal;
2) featuring presentations on programs and policies for mycotoxin mitigation; and
3) including demonstration/exhibition of technologies applicable for mycotoxin mitigation.

Invitees will include representatives from the Government of Nepal, researchers, academics, private sector and development partners. This dissemination workshop is an opportunity to engage with Nepali national stakeholders to inform policy and program design around Nepal’s food system, human and animal health.

The dissemination workshop is an INVITATION ONLY event.
