Under the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Associate Cooperative Agreement No. 72027820LA00003, Tufts University Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Nutrition is pleased to announce a new a partnership with Mindset, a research firm based in Jordan. Through a competitive bidding process, Mindset was chosen for its outstanding professional expertise and experiences as evidenced by its portfolio of projects including rigorous research designs and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and capacity building initiatives.
The goal of the Nutrition Innovation Lab project in Jordan is to generate evidence on the impact of the USAID-supported Community Health and Nutrition (CHN) activity, designed and implemented by FHI360, whose aim is to improve the nutritional status of pregnant and lactating women as well as children under the age of two in Jordan. FHI360 and the Nutrition Innovation Lab have been collaborating on research and evaluation designs for the CHN Program since 2020. The addition of Mindset brings deep skills in rigorous research design, development, and management strategy for successful implementation of nutrition-focused research. The partnership will help to engage and collaborate with the key government and non-government stakeholders in Jordan. Ultimately, the project’s goal is to support and expand the research agenda around infant and young child feeding and breastfeeding.
